Apologies for not posting for a while, I've had a lot on me plate, what with moving to Singapore and everything.
Er, yeah, kept kinda quiet about that one...a long story - the short version is I have family here and the climate is kinder on my trashed leg than Foggye London Towne, where a year of rehab still left me walking around looking like I'd stepped on a landmine.
The saunatastic 90-degree heat here means I can move around relatively normally, even if that means keeling over after 15 minutes from heatstroke.
As a nod to other (better) photo-blogs I offer a view from my kitchen window:
Repairing the aircon. 23 floors up.
After spending a year virtually immobile after my accident, I decided a change was as good as a rest, so have relocated here - yet another red-faced sweaty Westerner lording it over the locals is just what this place needs I reckon...

Singers is a damn good city to be based in, I need to draw up a list of good restaurants for you, the Malay kind.

Guess not much has changed in the high-rise world since the Empire State came up...

You can't drink on the trains, tube and buses now in London and you can't chew gum in Singapore so not so very different aside from the much better weather there. Enjoy and good luck with the move, hope your leg gets better quickly. You can throw peanut shells on the floor in Raffles by the way if you feel like a spot of littering to ease that Celtic rage. Have a ball exploring Asia.

All this talk of fog, rain and misery is making me depressed as I prep for a return move to London in a matter of weeks. Enough already.
Otherwise I excited. It's time to leave New York.
Good hunting out there, Sion. Looking forward to seeing how it all pans out.

Glad to see you got there as planned and I hope things now improve with your leg...I'm dead jealous, it makes my move from London to Brighton look rather pitiful!
Best,
Nicola x

Sorry I did not get to see you for that drink before you went! Great pic by the way! "23 floors up" looks like a very nice way to wake up. All sounds good. I'm with Brian on this "another one leaves the sinking ship" that is London. I may take you up on that ten year deal! x

Congratulations on the move. I might be passing through that way in a couple of months and will give you a shout.
Send me an email and I will pass on a couple of contacts for you there.
